Press release on the outcome of the plenary session of the council of ministers
On 23 October 2023, the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia issued a press release on the ASEAN authorized economic operators mutual recognition arrangement (AAMRA) after the Customs Administration of the ASEAN Member States signed on 19 September 2023.
AAMRA is an unbounded agreement to recognize mutually authorized economic operator programs among ASEAN member countries. The agreement provides additional trade facilitation to businesses recognized as authorized economic operators in ASEAN countries in accordance with the standards of the World Customs Organization (SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade), as well as contributing to the security and safety of the global supply chain.
